- About Me -
Kia ora,
My name is Rebekah, and I am a 31 year old counsellor based in both Christchurch and Rolleston. I am bachelor qualified and I am registered with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, abiding by their code of ethics. I provide in person sessions as well as online counselling throughout New Zealand.

I have experience working with a wide range of ages and presenting concerns. I welcome anyone over the age of 16 who is seeking support. I consider it an immense privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate a variety of challenges.

Personally, I am a mother of two neurodivergent kids, as well as a wife, daughter, sister, and friend. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling, learning, and having an afternoon nap (when my kids let me).

In my counselling practice, I aim to create a space that feels safe and welcoming, where our sessions not only consist of exploring your issue at depth, but also allow for moments of laughter and genuine connection to naturally emerge alongside our work. I aim to provide not only tools and support, but also a trusting client/counsellor relationship that in itself can facilitate growth.

I also have lived experience as a counselling client, so I understand what it feels like to sit in the client’s chair. This allows me to meet my own clients with empathy and a genuine understanding of the vulnerability and emotional honesty that counselling requires.

I offer a flexible schedule, including some after-hours availability. If you have any questions, or want to say hi, please feel free to get in touch.
I look forward to working with you 🌿
